DMCA & Copyright Policy
Pro Slot Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users and contributors to do the same. This policy explains how to notify us of alleged copyright infringement on the website at proslotgames.com (the “Site”) under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent principles, and how a party can respond with a counter-notice.
Our Approach to Copyright
As a gaming publication, we reference game titles, artwork, screenshots, and trademarks that belong to their rights holders for the purpose of news reporting, commentary, criticism, and analysis, which we believe constitutes fair use or fair dealing. If you nonetheless believe that content on the Site infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a notice as described below, and we will review it promptly.
How to Submit a Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorised to act on the owner’s behalf, please send a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works;
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it, including the specific URL or URLs on the Site;
- Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Please note that under the DMCA you may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees, if you knowingly and materially misrepresent that material is infringing.
Designated Agent
Send copyright notices to our designated agent at legal@proslotgames.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice.” Using this address and subject line helps us route your notice quickly to the right team.
What Happens After a Valid Notice
Upon receiving a notice that substantially complies with the requirements above, we will act expeditiously to review the claim and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material in question. We may notify the affected contributor or user that we have removed or disabled the material, and we may provide them a copy of the notice.
Counter-Notification
If you are a contributor or user and believe that material we removed or disabled was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated agent at legal@proslotgames.com that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before it was removed or disabled;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice or their agent.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material in accordance with the DMCA unless the original complaining party notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, within the timeframe provided by law.
Repeat Infringers
Consistent with the DMCA, we will, in appropriate circumstances, restrict or terminate access for contributors or users who are found to be repeat infringers.
